Marcellus E. Thomas Jr. , born November 15th, 1917 in Elaine, Arkansas,1 was a Negro baseball player in 1937.
Biography
Thomas was the son of Marcellus Thomas Sr. and Mary Jane (nee Hunter) Thomas.2 3
Thomas played with the St. Louis Blue Sox around 1937.4 He also briefly played with played outfield for the St. Louis Stars in the 1937 Negro American League. He also likely played with the St. Louis Sports in 1939.5
Thomas died on November 22nd, 1982 in St. Louis, MO,6 and was buried in Washington Park Cemetery in Berkley, MO.7
