John H. Baird

John Harvey Baird, born February 21st, 19231 in Arkansas2 , was a minor league baseball executive. Baird was the president of the Little Rock Travelers from 1956-1958. He was the nephew of John P. Baird.

John Harvey Baird was the son of James H. Baird, the brother of longtime Little Rock Travelers president John P. Baird. When John P. died in August, 1956, John Harvey became heir to his uncle's interest in the club and became president. He served as president of the team through 1958.

Baird attended the University of Arkansas. He later became president of Baird, Inc. and Little Rock Advertising Co.3 . He died on November 6th, 1969 while attending a convention in Atlanta, GA4 .
