Biography
Watt likely first came to Little Rock in 1902 when he joined the Little Rock Travelers of the Southern Association. That year, he went 19-9 and was one of the league's best pitchers. He continued to live in Little Rock most of the rest of his life.
Watt died on February 11th, 1969 in Lawton, OK at age 96.4 He was buried in Oakland Cemetery in Little Rock, AR.5

"George Watts [sic], right-handed pitcher, of Bosworth, Mo.; 25 years old, 5 feet 9 inches tall, weights 160; was given a trial by Kansas City in 1899, and then played with Emporia, Kan. Last year played at Jefferson City and Sedalia, winning every game he pitched--18."6
