Claude N. "Bud" Campbell, born October 13th, 1923,1
was a broadcaster for the Arkansas Travelers from 1960-1967.
Biography
Campbell was best know as the voice of the University of Arkansas football team.
Campbell died in a car accident on October 3rd, 1974 in Little Rock, AR. He was buried in Roselawn Memorial Cemetery in Little Rock.2

"C. N. (Bud) Campbell, sports director of television station KATV in Little Rock, was killed in a one-car accident in Pulaski County, Ark., October 3. He was 51. Campbell broadcast University of Arkansas football games on the school's radio network for many years and also had a weekly interview program with Frank Broyles, the Razorback coach, during the grid season. A graduate of Louisiana State University, Campbell was a sports announce for station WIND in Chicago before moving to Little Rock in 1954."3
