
Theodore "Ted" Clawitter, born May 20th, 1913 in Ulm, AR was a professional baseball player from 1935-1954.
Biography
During World War II, Clawitter played and umpired in games in the south pacific. Late in his baseball career, he worked as a coach and in the front office as a business manager.
Clawitter collected 1222 hit in his career.1
Clawitter died on August 29th, 1991.2 He was buried in Zion Lutheran Cemetery in Ulm, AR.3
