Sanner moved to Little River County, AR between 1930-19351 .
Sanner is best remembered for being both a pitcher and an outfielder2 . In 1948 with Houma of the Evangeline League, he won the batting triple crown with a .386 batting average, 34 homers and 126 RBIs. Meanwhile, as a pitcher the same season, he went 21-2 with a 2.58 ERA and 251 strikeouts.
Sanner finished his career with 137 career wins and 220 career homeruns.3 He died January 9th, 1982 in Houston, TX.
