Mike Ilitch


Mike Ilitch, born July 20th, 1929 in Detroit, MI, was a professional baseball player for the Hot Springs Bathers in 1952. Ilitch hit .266 in 72 games for Hot Springs.

Ilitch spent 4 seasons in the minor leagues, but never made it to the majors. However, after Ilitch retired from baseball, he became a successful businessman. He founded Little Caesars Pizza and now owns the Detroit Red Wings NHL team and the Detroit Tigers baseball team.
