Maceo Brodnax

Maceo Brodnax,1 born September 11th, 1911 in Pine Bluff, AR, was a Negro League baseball player.


Brodnax was the son of Frank Brodnax and Lydia (nee Billingsley) Brodnax and grew up in Kansas City, MO.2 By 1940, he moved to Denver, CO.3

Brodnax played with the Kansas City Giants in 19314 and perhaps the Colored House of Davids in 1935.5 He may also have briefly played for the Kansas City Monarchs in the early 1930s.6

Brodnax died in 1992 and was buried in Olinger Highland Cemetery in Thornton, CO.7
