Clyde McCarty

Clyde McCarty, born March 2nd, 1891 in Clifton City, MO, was a professional baseball player from 1914-1921. He lived in Fort Smith, AR circa 1914-1920.


McCarty died in 1962 and was buried in Riverside Cemetery in Warsaw, MO1 .


"Clyde McCarty, an infielder who comes from Clifton, Missouri, was signed for Dallas by Scout Ury, who recommends him very highly. In 36 games he played in 1912 he hit .350, and stole 38 bases, with the Sedalia, Mo., team."2
